Only pre-registered customers can take part in this event. By pre-registering online you will receive a confirmation email that you need to bring down to the event. To take part you must bring 3 items of clothing (excluding underwear, swimwear and accessories except shoes) that you are happy to swop. Adult female clothing only will be accepted. Clothing must be in a clean, wearable condition and it is down to Topshop's sole discretion as to whether they are acceptable for the swop. Once your item has been handed in for the swop it is not possible to change your mind and have this item back. You are only permitted to swop a maximum of 3 items. You will be given 1 token in exchange for each item accepted by Topshop for the swop and this token can only be exchanged for other 'swop' items during the event. If only two of your items are deemed acceptable you will only be given 2 tokens. If only 1 of your items are deemed acceptable you will only receive 1 token. 1 token can be exchange for 1 item of clothing or a pair of shoes at the swop. Tokens are non transferable and non refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. All clothing in Topswap corner is second hand, therefore Topshop accepts no liability for the quality, fitness for purpose, labeling or compliance with health and safety of the clothing. No exchanges or refunds will be accepted (Topshop Refunds Policy is not applicable).

During the swop times the following rules must be adhered too. Anyone found to be in breach of these rules is subject to be removed from the event and forfeit your right to participate (you will not be allowed your tokens or items from the event)
1. All items are swapped on a first come first served basis
2. Remember you are a lady…no fighting, pushing or man-handling your fellow swoppers!
3. 1 token can be exchanged for 1 item only
4. You can only hold onto 5 items at a time (yes ladies no taking a whole rail of clothes and going through them in the corner!)
5. Topshop reserve the right to eject any rowdy swoppers that do not adhere to these rules!

If participation at the event is above 50 people then a queuing system will be put in place to enter the swop area. Entry into the swop area will be based on a first come first served basis. We will let in 50 people at a time in to the area and they will only have 20 min to swop their tokens for items. These people must then leave and the next 50 will be let in and so on. Last entry into the area will commence at 8.20pm. If a queuing system has to be put in place then participants will not be able to browse the area at 5pm. Any items left at the end of the event will be donated to the TRAID bank clothes recycling scheme. Topshop reserves the right to change these terms and conditions (and will use its reasonable endeavors to notify you of any such changes)


Bike Competition Terms and Conditions

All entries must be made by completing all fields and submitting no later than Sunday 29th June 2008. Prize draw open to UK and Eire residents only. No purchase necessary. The prize is non transferable, non refundable and non negotiable. There is no cash alternative. Only one entry per person. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. Topshop accepts no liability for lost entries. The winners will be the first three entries drawn at random and will be notified by telephone no later than Wednesday 9th July 2008. There are three first prizes of a Pashley Sonnet Bliss bicycle. By entering the prize draw all entrants agree to be bound to these rules and for the data submitted to be used by Topshop to contact the entrant via email once for permission to communicate to the entrant thereafter. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into relating to the result of the prize draw. Topshop reserves the right to substitute the bicycles with different bicycles of its choosing which have a value the same or greater than the original prizes in the event of circumstances outside of its control. By entering into this prize draw the winners agree to participate in such promotional activity and material as Topshop may require. Employees of the Arcadia Group, their families, agencies or anyone connected with the prize draw are not eligible to enter. Winners’ details will be made available for two weeks after the draw upon written request to “Win a bicycle competition”, Topshop Marketing at the address below. Topshop reserves the right to (i) cancel this promotion, (ii) cancel or refuse any individual’s entry and (iii) amend these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English Law and exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
